What Cloudflare Deploy does
The Cloudflare Deploy skill provides a streamlined approach for developers looking to deploy applications and infrastructure on the Cloudflare platform. With a focus on services such as Workers, Pages, and other related offerings, this skill allows users to efficiently manage their deployments through a series of decision trees that guide them to the appropriate Cloudflare product based on their needs. Whether you are deploying serverless functions, full-stack web apps, or managing stateful coordination, this skill simplifies the process by directing users to the relevant resources and commands.
To get started, users must authenticate their Cloudflare account, which can be done through interactive login or by setting environment variables for CI/CD pipelines. Once authenticated, users can leverage the skill to execute deployment commands like wrangler deploy or npm run deploy. The skill also includes quick decision trees that help users identify the right Cloudflare product for their specific use case, whether it involves running code, storing data, or implementing AI/ML solutions.
This skill is particularly useful for developers and teams who frequently work with Cloudflare services and need a reliable method for deploying their projects. By utilizing the provided references and structured guidance, users can avoid common pitfalls and ensure their applications are deployed correctly and efficiently. The skill is designed to enhance productivity and streamline workflows for those engaged in cloud-based development.
When to use it
Use this skill when you need to deploy, host, publish, or set up projects specifically on the Cloudflare platform.
When not to use it
Avoid this skill for deploying applications to other platforms like Vercel, Netlify, or Render, as it is tailored specifically for Cloudflare services.
What you can build with it
Deploy a Serverless Function
Use the skill to deploy a serverless function to Cloudflare Workers, enabling edge execution of your code.
Host a Full-Stack Web App
Leverage Cloudflare Pages to deploy a full-stack web application with Git integration.
Manage Stateful Coordination
Utilize Durable Objects for stateful coordination in your application, simplifying state management across instances.
How to install Cloudflare Deploy

npx skills add tech-leads-club/agent-skills/cloudflare-deploy --agent claude-code2. Or install it manually
Download the skill folder and drop it into ~/.claude/skills/ for all projects, or .claude/skills/ to scope it to one repo. Restart Claude Code so it picks up the new skill.
Anthropic's agentic coding CLI, and the reference implementation of Agent Skills. Drop a skill folder into ~/.claude/skills and Claude Code loads it automatically whenever a task matches the skill's description. Claude Code docs

Consolidated skill for building on the Cloudflare platform. Use decision trees below to find the right product, then load detailed references.
Prerequisites
- When sandboxing blocks the deployment network calls, rerun with
sandbox_permissions=require_escalated. - The deployment might take a few minutes. Use appropriate timeout values.
Authentication (Required Before Deploy)
Verify auth before wrangler deploy, wrangler pages deploy, or npm run deploy:
npx wrangler whoami # Shows account if authenticated
Not authenticated? → references/wrangler/auth.md
- Interactive/local:
wrangler login(one-time OAuth) - CI/CD: Set

Troubleshooting
Escalated Network Access
If deployment fails due to network issues (timeouts, DNS errors, connection resets), rerun the deploy with escalated permissions (use sandbox_permissions=require_escalated). The deploy requires escalated network access when sandbox networking blocks outbound requests.
Example guidance to the user:
The deploy needs escalated network access to deploy to Cloudflare. I can rerun the command with escalated permissions—want me to proceed?
