What Retro Quarterly Review Template does

The Retro Quarterly Review Template is designed for professionals seeking to create visually striking presentations for quarterly reviews or roadmaps. This template features a bold blue and orange color scheme, inspired by print design, which enhances the visual impact of your slides. It consists of three key slides: a cover slide with a prominent title, a triptych grid outlining three priorities, and a roadmap timeline accompanied by a KPI strip. Each slide is crafted to hold attention with a fast-paced, cinematic approach that keeps viewers engaged.

To use the template, start by reviewing the active DESIGN.md file to ensure any necessary token changes are mapped into CSS variables while maintaining the established visual style. The template is built from assets/template.html, allowing for quick modifications without starting from scratch. It preserves a structured three-slide format, ensuring that the information architecture remains intact and the typographic hierarchy is clear.

The template also includes interactive features such as keyboard shortcuts for quick navigation, a restart option, and premium wipe transitions that enhance the presentation experience. The output is designed to be self-contained, with all necessary HTML, CSS, and JavaScript included inline, eliminating the need for additional frameworks. Before finalizing your presentation, validate your work against the provided checklist to ensure quality and consistency.

Workflow

  1. Read active DESIGN.md first and map any requested token changes into CSS variables while preserving the retro blue/orange/cream visual grammar.
  2. Start from assets/template.html; do not rebuild from scratch.
  3. Preserve the three-slide information architecture and typographic hierarchy.
  4. Keep interactions and motion quality:
    • keyboard 1/2/3 quick jump
    • R restart
    • page indicator updates per scene
    • premium wipe transitions and staggered reveals
  5. Keep output self-contained (single HTML, inline CSS + JS, no framework runtime).
  6. If adapting copy/data, keep content realistic and internally consistent.
  7. Validate against references/checklist.md before emitting artifact.

Output contract

Emit one short orientation sentence and then the artifact:

<artifact identifier="retro-quarterly-review" type="text/html" title="Retro Quarterly Review">
<!doctype html>
<html>...</html>
</artifact>
